Hello Reader! Sometimes it feels like I learned some really cool things late in life...maybe that's you too...? In any case, when I started my career 'Bilingual Education' was not new, but it certainly was not well developed either. A few years in I learned that there are different ways of learning languages, and those ways are actually labeled simultaneous, sequential, and balanced bilinguals. Do you know your type? And, did you know that if you find out more about your kids' 'bilingual type', then you can give them a biliteracy boost?
