✏️ The change that made dictado easier

Hello Reader!

A few years ago, I kept adding fluff to my Spanish writing and spelling instruction. More activities. More practice pages. More routines. But honestly it wasn't helping.

What finally made the biggest difference was simplifying.

Instead of constantly introducing something new, I focused on consistent, purposeful dictado practice--the Dual Language way!

Students quickly learned the routine, and they knew what to expect. And what is really cool, is that the structure stayed the same, so that they could focus on the actual skill.

That's one of the reasons I created El Dictado Trifecta.​

It's built around a simple framework that gives students repeated opportunities to practice spelling patterns without creating extra planning work. As a teacher needing lesson plans, your day-to-day is embedded in each slide, so it is easy to follow and low prep because these are mostly whole-group, differentiated teaching slides.
